Is Nascar a real sport?

Do you feel Nascar should be considered a sport or not?

Is Indy car racing a moribund sport in North America?

Pertaining to open-wheel racing, have you noticed a steady decline in interest? Will top-league, professional open-wheel racing survive in the hemisphere? NASCAR seems to hold the pinnacle of national attention but I sure miss CART and CHAMPCAR. I liked the road and street-courses, unlike the perpetual oval of Indycar. Will GrandPrix style open wheel racing survive? Do you like this format of racing?

Nascar Nation----Can you answer me this?

With the sun setting on Kyle Petty's NASCAR career....no offense to any one including him....I always thought when I was younger I would eventually see him actually drive the #43. But he never got (or possibly wanted) to drive the King's car full time. HOWEVER, Kyle was called upon early in his career to actually drive the famed #43. You see when Kyle first got started he had some problems on the road courses...."Daddy, it just won't run". The King to prove that the #42 was just as solid of a car as the #43 wanted to teach the young driver that it wouldn't necessarily the car. So here's my question what did the King do to let Kyle drive the #43? Did he sit out? What year and at what race did the above occur? Can you tell me where the #42 and/or the #43 finished in that particular race??? Good luck and have fun with it!!!

What do ya'll think of this?

In NASCAR Illustrated I had read a letter from the letters for the editor called "Thumbs Down" (it's the last letter) It had said that Tony Stewart should never have been chosen as person of the year and that Stewart is the "Michael Vick of auto racing".How immature, rude and uncalled for is that? Vick deserves to burn in hell for what he did. I 'am not a Stewart fan and I do agree that he should may have not been person of the year but you can't compare an animal abusing football player to a hot tempered auto racer. Stewart takes his aggression out on the track or equipment he doesn't go home and beat his dog or go and run a dog fighting ring. now I know there will be people that disagree (always is) but before yous get your panties in wad I know Stewart has had plenty of fines and what nots but hes never been in jail and fines over millions of dollars because he abuses animals.
It is in January 09 issue (just got it today) and it wasnt an editor it was a fan letter its on page 19.

Maggie's question got me thinking about this. If so, what driver(s) did you have? If not, did you just use a paper bag or did you have some other sort of lunch box? I remember a few different ones including Fat Albert and Evil Knievel lunch boxes LOL
I also had a Sigmund the sea monster one. Does anyone else remember that show? It was sort of Saturday morning deal with muppet like puppets and a boy.
OK, it was Sigmund AND the sea monsters, sorry. Anyway, if I still had my old lunch box it would be worth $122 and an extra $47 for the bottle. I wish I still had it LOL This is the one I had---->

Have you ever been to a NASCAR race? If so, where?? and.. Who is your favorite driver?

If you been to a few tell me which track you liked the best.

I went to Charlotte twice. (It was the perfect weather. I love night races and it was in May and October. They have them at the best time there.)

Indianapolis once. (It was so hot and Jeff Gordon did real sh*tty)

Bristol once. (it was so cold there last year!!) We have tickets there again this year!!)

I will be having a grilled chicken sandwich with roasted red pepper, provolone cheese and thousand island dressing...Yum Yum and PLUS...I have two clementines from Christmas.

Yes I had lunch pails as a kid. Two that I remember well were a new Bonanza one which didn't bother me and a Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea one that was a hand me down from and older cousin and it used to make me cringe when I brought that to school. It was a boys lunch box and one kid even made me cry about it.
